1/6/12 - Friday (Blog #6)

Awesome! Checked my stats on the blog, and apparently I got 108 page views from yesterday. Talk about an all time high. Thanks everyone for actually having an interest in this. And, from reading other’s comments, I’ll try and reply here. To Weise and Piggie, I’m always tired, whether I like it or not. I don’t have trouble sleeping or anything, I just don’t sleep much. Doesn’t mean I’m not energetic though. More like I’m tired mentally. To Barricuda, any advice would be taken gladly. To Bonafide Jones, yeah I know. School’s not much of a worry for me, since I’ve already done my college applications and am a senior. Senioritis hit me early. To everyone else that commented, thanks for all the follows and comments. I’ll be sure to check out all your blogs and comment on your own posts. Thanks for all the support too. Now, without further ado, here’s my regular day.

Woke up today around noon. I was pretty hungry, so I went out to eat pho for lunch. If you don’t know what pho is, shame on you. It’s a Vietnamese noodle, and it’s insanely delicious. I went to Noodle World, since it’s only a 3-4 minute walk away from my house. I tend to walk to a lot of places if I can. Not just because I don’t have a license yet, I can drive already, but because I like to enjoy the scenery and think about things. It’s also pretty funny to watch people sit in traffic and walk past them with a smile. And I won’t lie, if I ever see girls on the street that look pretty cute, I say hello to them and introduce myself. I wouldn’t have this chance if I was driving.

Anyways, after pho, I walked back home, and walked my dogs. Luckily, I didn’t get shot at this time, and it was pretty hot, so I only walked around long enough for my dogs to do their dirty business, if you know what I mean. By the time I got home, I turned on the T.V. and the AT&T Cotton Bowl was on. I think it was Arkansas vs. Kansas. I don’t really root for either team; I just enjoy watching them play. The penalties annoy me though, and the fights make me laugh.

That’s pretty much it. Oh, and I got a new haircut. Sadly, I won’t be uploading any pictures of myself on here, so I can’t show you guys. It’s pretty much the same hair I have, but trimmed, so nothing special. Something that was awesome though, was that I decided to actually text M today. I said before, I haven’t texted her for a few days, since she never replied anything. So I sent her a text, and sat down for my haircut, not really expecting a reply. And guess what happens next. SHE ACTUALLY REPLIED! I almost jumped out of my seat, and the guy was still cutting my hair. I think he actually did cut my ear a bit, but I didn’t care much. I took out my phone and saw her reply. I was incredibly happy. Of course, I think I gave the barber a heart attack, but I don’t care.

This day was pretty boring at first, but now I’ve been texting M for a few hours already. I know this is probably just me getting happy over nothing, but finally getting to talk to her again makes my day a lot better. And I’ve spent enough time today writing this. I’m going back to texting her! Sorry, ha. I’ll make my post again tomorrow, as always. Thanks for all the support and remember to comment!

  4. Hey Omni, thanks for the shoutout. Pho is awesome. I'm white, but man, I had Pho at this place (ironically enough) called Pho once, super good.

  5. Just followed your blog.

I also enjoy walking whenever I can, unfortunately most places I go are far away from my house, it's not an issue of the effort it's an issue of time.

  6. You should write a couple posts completely about M, that would be interesting. I'm going to go try Pho on Sunday. Anyways, good luck with M! Use them cheesy pick-up lines!

  10. Funny that you bring up Arkansas vs. Kansas. It's illegal to mispronounce Arkansas while you're in Arkansas! They would pronounce it, "Are-Kansas", like the state Kansas. Huh!
